Painting - wee wildflowers Mt Buffalo
A tiny watercolour painting inspired by the summer wildflowers at Mt Buffalo National Park. It's impossible to truly capture the colour, the movement, the glimmers of light... but I do really love painting these little works.
This piece is housed in a 'rescued timber' frame under glass. It's painted on archival arches 300gsm watercolour paper, using artist quality paints.
The window of this unique frame is 11cm square, and the outside edges measure 19cm square.
