Group hug time. Mac the dog man wins award!

Just wanted to share some exciting news - Mac the Dog Man has picked up a 'winner of children's non-fiction picture book' award through Bookvana in the US. :) I don't know much about the award itself, but I do know that it's largely thanks to the generosity and kindness of so many generous souls that this book even exists. You know who you are. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart to everyone who's supported this project, enjoyed a walk and chat by the river, given encouragement or patted a dog. No point...

it's MISTER Mac to you!

I wanted to share a quick new story, told to me last week by Mac the Dog Man. It happened on the Monday after our Sunday afternoon book launch on the banks of the Yarra at Warrandyte. Here's Mac (yellow hat of course) signing books for the fan club! On Monday morning Mac and his dogs were strolling in their usual fashion along the river path, when they met a group of four boys walking to school. The boys nudged each other, stopped walking and then... BOWED to Mac! Not only that, they did the whole sing-song primary school morning...
